Whenever it starts raining really hard, it makes me giggle and happy inside because it serves as a reminder that my birthday is near. It's always raining during my birthday, so I guess that’s one of the reasons why I love the rain. There’s something about the rain that makes me feel good, glad, and comfortable. Ahh I just love the cold weather.
Every time I turn a year older, I notice that things about me change. Now that I’m 23, I like to go on more adventures to explore different things and places. I like to spend my whole free day (if I could) at the spa, just relaxing instead of wandering around the mall. I love spicy food. I’m currently obsessed with Japanese food, like it’s all I want to eat every time I go out. I’m slightly addicted to the gym because I’m trying to improve my health and fitness. I go almost every single day except if I had to be somewhere else, and I spend a little bit more than 3 hours a day. Since I devote most of my time at the gym, buying gym clothes is becoming a habit every time I’m at the mall. I appreciate menswear a little bit more. Right now I’m really into street, sporty chic looks when it comes to dressing up. I adore monochromatic fashion. You’ll see me wearing basic colors like white, gray and mostly black every day. I’ll buy anything I fancy as long as it is available in black. However, in spite of these changes, sometimes I find myself listening to my old favorite songs during my time in high school which mostly consist of pop rock, alternative rock, and screamo. Yes, I’m into those kinds of music. *winks*
With all these changes, I really feel like I'm fulfilling to be myself—which is good, right? Because being true to ourselves is very important if you want to be happy in life. Now, I wonder what changes would befall on me on my next birthday? Hmm..
Now let’s talk about my day. I have to say I really enjoyed my birthday because I was able to spend it with my family, friends, and loved ones. I appreciate everyone who greeted me in person and via social media. Thank you so much for making me feel extra special today. You guys are the best! I wish you all nothing but a life full of adventures and happiness.
